"Problem Transferring D40 Files"

I am in the process of creating a web gallery to add to my website. The images that are going on it have to be moved to a different computer to be included in the archive.

The website creator and I both have Mac's. We created a shared folder to move the files over. When I attempted to move the edited D40 files, they said they were locked and couldn't be read, but my D7000 files had no problems. I went back and tried to unlock the photo, (which I'm still not sure how they got locked in the first place) and it allowed that, but the problem was still there upon second attempt.

Has anyone had this problem, or knows how to fix it?

Thanks for the help in advance,
Joey

How are you trying to move the files?

At any rate, it has nothing to do with a D40 or D7000. Once those files are in the computer, how they got created doesn't matter.

I should also add that there has been a significant amount of trouble with networking on MacOS since the last update went out about three weeks or a month ago. Not sure what they did but a whole bunch of stuff that worked for years stopped working reliably last month.
