"d40x won't turn on"

Hi all,
I sold my d40x last year here on Nikonians and the guy who bought it says it won't turn on. That's a problem I never had. I suggested his battery may not be charged or may not be able to hold a charge if he's still using the battery I got with the camera in May 2007. But that's a guess. Any suggestions? Thanks all, and happy new year.

Hi Joseph,

Make sure that the battery is fully charged.
If the problem persists, try cleaning the electrical contacts on the battery and in the camera with DeOxit or a clean pencil eraser.
