"Bulb Mode"

Is there something like "bulb mode" for the D60 where you can take a long exposure of a city scene and get those cool trails from the head / tail lights of cars?

You can set your shutter speed to Bulb but you have to be in Manual mode to access it.

For exposures longer than 30 seconds, which can be done in "S" mode, it is helpful to have the ml-l3 remote that allows you to toggle the shutter for an indefinite period of time.

Hi Martin,

If I remember correctly the longest exposure possible on a D60 is 30 minutes. Way longer than required to capture light trails on highways. As stated above use the ML-L3 to control the shutter in bulb mode.
Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!

Best Regards,
Marty
