"Flash for D50"

Miamisburg, US

Hi. I'm a new D50 user and was wondering if my old Promatic FTD 5200 flash will work with the D50?

Thanks.

sort of

It will work in A mode and manual -- no TTL, No iTTL.

And check to trigger voltage to see if it is under 250 volts.

Thanks again.

TTL is Through The Lens metering, iTTL is a derivative which works on newer Nikon cameras (standard TTL flash doesn't work on the D50 etc).
