"Actuations"

Sorry for this question. I know it has been asked a million times. I have downloaded Infranview, OPanda and uploaded a picture to Flicker and still can't find the number of actuations on my D70. I am running windows 7. Any help will be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Bill

Hi Bill,

Glad to hear you got it figured out.
For others reading this post, if you open a jpeg created in the camera with Opanda IExf 2.3, then scroll down close to the bottom (8th line from the bottom) of the page you will see "Total Number of Shutter Releases for Camera".

Best Regards,
Marty

In the Mac world, this can be found by:

1. Open a JPG in Preview
2. Click on "Tools" at the top of the preview window
3. Click on the "exif" column heading
4. There's tons of info there...look for the line titled Image Number. That's the total clicks.

(Interestingly, this doesn't get reset if you replace the shutter (I had to do that); it sill reports the cumulative total from the original body/shutter, plus the fixed body/new shutter pair.)
