Does a D80 put exif info on both the JPG and NEF file?
I shoot raw +large jpg fine. I have not been able to extract exif data from paint shop pro, which does have the ability to pull exif from images i have pulled from the web.
does the D80 store exif in both files? is there a setting where it may have been turned off? i read through the user guide, but it was unclear. it only mentioned it wass on the first image of a multi exposure.
thanks in advance

My D70s and All of my other DSLR's have Exif data imbedded in both the NEF files and the Jpeg files. I am sure the D80 does too.
Try opening an image using View NX2.

If you are using PSP to edit your files, PSP v10+ is discarding lots of the EXIF data (all of the "maker" section where Nikon puts all the good stuff). Photoshop does the same thing.
If you are looking at unedited NEFs and JPGs, PSP should be showing some EXIF data although it does not display it all.
