"Manual mode on Nikon D90"

DE

When working in Manual mode, I found a little problem. Everytime that I shoot, it seems that I have to set the shutter speed again. F.i. if I am using 5.6 aperture and 60 shutter speed, after doing the photo. The next photo comes with a shutter speed value totally different.
I thought in manual mode, the settings remain the same the whole. Can anybody tell me why this happens?

Many thanks.

Carlos.

Hi Carlos.

Welcome to Nikonians website.

I tried it on my D90.
I get what you get when I am in P (Program) mode.
When I am in M (Manual) it behaves; it stays at the setting.

Hope this helps.

Terry.

Hi Carlos,

+1 with normal operation in manual mode, my main mode of shooting. The shutter speed and aperture stays unchanged till i change it.

Welcome to Nikonians Carlos.

The first thing that comes to mind for me is to check to see if you have bracketing enabled.

You almost certainly have bracketing turned on.

Hello Guys,

Marty was right. It was the Bracketing which was on. The problem is now solved. Much appreciated!

Carlos.
