"D80 not recording images"

I photographed a basketball team this morning. Checked the images on the lcd as I took them. Got home to load them onto the computer for ordering and none of the image files are there. Not one! There were 15 images altogether.

Images I took last night at a Wildlife Banquet were still there and the card was not full. Camera was set to manual and I used off camera flash. I tried to duplicate this right away, but the camera recorded every single image on to the card perfectly. There is only 1 folder on the card so all images go there.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I am running an image recovery program right now to see if they will show up.

Hi Dane,

Sounds like the card is corrupted.
The image recovery software should be able to get them back.
Do you format the card in the camera after downloading the images to your computer?

I was able to recover the photos along with about 400 others from the card! I formatted the card from the computer and then formatted it once I put it back in the camera. It seems to be working ok, but we shall see.
