You do not have to be able to read any Japanese to get more information that was ont he press release some months back

Release date is set for the 19th March 2004 in Japan - could be sooner in the USA (was on the D2h - I had to wait 2 month )

The specs sound impressive - built in speedlight can do i-TTL, upto 1/500 sec flash sync (did I read that correctly?), 3FPS upto 144 JPEGs shot continuously, ... the list goes on.

This might just make the perfect "backup" body for me. Wait and see.

Any idea on availability? I couldn't find it (not to say that it is not there!).
