"Why I Decided To Order The D/70 Pics Included"

I had no intention of buying the D/70 today I was at Koh's Camera and the Nikon salesman came by with the D/70 I was impressed by what I saw and then I decided to put my card in the camera and go outside and do some shooting, not knowing that the salesman put the iso on 1600 I started shooting took about 20 pics Shipping date is March 26

$1.95 a gallon!?! - Yikes! Any photoshop used in this photo or is it straight out of the camera? Looks good on 1600 setting...

Picture was cropped, levels ajustment, some saturation, and unsharp mask.

as a film lover that is impressive. looks cleaner than any 1600 speed color print film ive shot. still trying to justify the addition of this camera to my f100 and n80. i still shoot all my weddings etc on film.

im not anti-digital, just pro-film

I swore I would not buy this camera, but after seeing and playing with it I thought how it would be for a knock around camera when I did not feel like carrying the big cameras. unless you try for yourself you will never know. I have seen the shots the Nikon rep took in Vegas and I got to say I was quite impressed.
