I don't think anybody will have an answer for you until the D70 is released to market in America. Not only that, but the D70 is flying off the shelves in Asia like hot-cakes, so I wouldn't expect anything but premium price for the first few months...
It's funny that retailers are discounting the D70 already and it has not been officially released in North America. But then again, I noticed here in Canada that C*n*n started dropping the price of the dRebel recently so maybe we are starting to see some pricing pressure.
Has anyone gotten verification that this is a USA warranty price?
Should we care? I personally want one, especially for a body - but all this is moot, as I can't find out if it includes the USA or not - called them - busy 3 times. I checked on their site, but it doesn't say.
Has anyone else looked into this?

I haven't had any problems with them so far. I guess I won't know until the camera arrives at the door. So far the ordering was simple and they have an order tracking system that is pretty easy to understand.
I asked about the warrenty and they said it was the standard warrenty that comes with the camera. They were also able to tell me how many cameras they expected to receive (80) and how many they had already sold (50).
Guess I won't know the rest until I get it, but it seems okay to me.
Anybody have any additional thoughts on where to purchase and price points? I agree etronics is tempting, but I have heard to many 'stories' about some of the NY City photo sellers to feel comfortable.
I have started to put the D70 in shoping carts all around the web, (B&H, RITZ, etc..) but can't seem to pull the trigger hoping there is a better deal or delivery time out there.
I feel like a kid again waiting for this, I usually never buy something straight out of the gate, but man, I want this camera.
