"Colour Mode Confusion"

Dundee, GB

Hi folks. I've set my D80 to take shots in colour mode II. However, when I open the RAW image in Capture NX and check the panel on the left, it says "Colour Mode IIIa". I can't figure out what this means. Can anyone help me with this?

Any help or advice will be very much appreciated.

If you check the camers you will find it did not take.

It is not a simple intuitive processe.

You have to also have the camera accept it after you set it back up the tree of menus.

When change the color mode you have to scroll back to the top of the menu to were it says “done” and click ok for the change to take effect.

To check and see if the change took look at the first image info screen on the LCD. The color mode is the 6th item on the list.

Also if your using any of the vari-program modes or Auto your color space will be set to the default for that mode and can not be changed.

Thanks all. I hadn't realized that when I switch to one of the fancy program modes the copour mode is taken out of my hands. That would seem to have been my problem. Silly me.

Thanks again for the help.
