D2Xs body for sale. US model in like new, perfect condition. It was purchased last September, has under 200 actuations, and includes all original packaging and accessories. $3800.00, PayPal, includes shipping via UPS within the continental US.

This is simply too much camera for me in terms of size, weight, and features, and I am going back to a D200.

As I said above, the camera is like new, but I can take some photos if anybody is interested.

Would you be interested in a trade, D200, MBD200, 4 batteries plus $$$?

My purchase from Rocky was smooth and pleasant. Everything happened just the way it should.

My only regret is buying a 200-400VR before he sold his. Someone is about to make a fantastic buy on a D2Xs!

Nobody has expressed interest in my D2Xs. Is it priced too high, or has the right person just not seen it yet? Any opinions?

I don't think you priced your D2Xs too high. B&H sells it new for $4245.95 and they have one used at $3,750 (I bet this has way more than the <200 actuations of yours).

I think it is just a high ticket item out of the price range of most people (including me...sigh - if only....)

Actually, I bought one of those last month. It looked like it had never left the box and had 16 shutter activations.

Well, from the UK I can buy a brand new one from a HongKong eBayer for $3500 plus postage. I presume in the US the costs would be similar. So, for a 2nd hand, no warrenty camera who would pay more ? (Yes, I know if there are issues it'd have to be shipped back to HK but at least it has a warrenty).
The trouble is everyone expects a new camera to be announced in the upcoming tradeshows and is playing the waiting game to see the specs whilst the HK eBayers are just dumping stock for some reason ...

I have a new D2Xs quoted from Allens Camera for $4100.00. I believe many feel the D3x is just around the corner and are waiting for the announcement. That will probably drop a new D2Xs below $4000.00. If you aren't in a hurry you can probably get $3500 to $3700.
My dilema is $3500+ for a used one or $4100 for a new one or wait for the $5000.00+ D3x.

Based on the input, I am lowering the price to $3650.00. I hope others will agree it a great price, especially when you consider that I am also paying the PayPal fee and shipping expenses.

I just received the Nikon 200-400 VR lens yesterday from Rocky. The lens is what he described it to be, which is essentially new. You guys should have seen the packaging. It was quadruple boxed! A bullet probably wont be able to get through

Anyways, you won't find a better seller than Rocky so buy with confidence folks.
