"Pixel editor"

Has anyone used Digital Light & Color Picture Window Pro as an alternative to Adobe?

A local pro suggested that it makes a pretty good alternative to Adobe as it provides the photo parts of adobe without the extra pring stuff that is genreally not useful to most photographers. It is very cost effective.

I used an earlier version (3.5, I think) for a shoot where I needed to eliminate some distracting backgrounds. It worked quite well as I remember.
