"Black & white control points"

I just upgraded to CNX2.3 and noticed that the B&W control points have dropped the luminosity and added RGB points. Does anyone have an idea why they may have gone that direction and are there any other changes?

I'm not very experienced with the software but liked being able to use these points but since the luminosity slider is removed how does the RGB sliders assist in setting contrast?

John, click on the down arrow next to where it says RGB and you should be able to change it to luminosity.

Hi Rick,

Thanks so much for the direction. When I called Nikon the rep there said they did away with it.

Sounds like the Rep did not know what he was talking about. I don't remember it being any other way than the current pull down menu. Mine defaults to Luminance and is the first pick in the menu, with RGB second.

Hi Bob,

I appreciate the reply. The first pick in the drop down menu is luminosity but my version's default is RGB for some reason. When I checked with the rep and asked my question I was told they'd have to check to make certain and after about 3 minutes I was given the information I posted. Thank goodness for Nikonians!
