Same old, same old. Nikon is the only software-selling company I know that never begins testing before the official release of a new system. So infuriating.

If you wait until Nikon finishes testing, you'll be waiting a long long time. Capture NX2
2.2.7, ViewNX2 2.1.1, and Camera Control Pro2 2.9 are working fine here on my iMac
2.66GHz Core 2 Duo with no problems. Color Efex Pro is working properly as well,
with both CNX2 and Aperture 3.1.3

I see no reason to hold off upgrading to Lion. I did and NX2, Aperture 3.0, PSCS5 all work fine. Lion is very cool.

Best,

Chuck

Gary: Did you uninstall Colour EfexPro 3 plug-in for NX2 first before upgrading to Lion?

No. Why would I have done that? Not trying to be a smarta$$,
just curious.

Another successful Lion upgrade. No issues yet with Photo Mechanic, Capture NX2, Photoshop CS5, Nik Color Efex Pro 3 (in CNX nor Photoshop), Nik Silver Efex Pro 2, Nik HDR Efex Pro, nor Camera Control Pro 2.

Still learning the track pad and getting used to not having to use the Back button!

Successful upgrade to Lion here in the UK. Smooth as silk. No issues with NX2.2.7, Colour Efex Pro3, ViewNX2.1, Photomatix Pro, Cool.

And in general, I was just looking at the list of applications that are NOT
compatible with Lion, and the list is very very short. Pre-2008 MS Office,
Quicken 2007 or older, one site says CNX2 has problems, I wonder what
they are as I haven't seen any yet on my system.. And of course there's
no Rosetta support, so apps written for PowerPC based macs won't run.
In other words, old stuff may have problems or not run, newer apps run fine.
