"Wits end...."

US

Does anyone know how to set the left and right-hand screen menus in View NX2 so they stay closed, even if you happen to touch on the sides of the screen? This is easy to set in Lightroom, but I can't find a way to "freeze" them closed in NX2 and it's driving me nuts having them open every time I stray anywhere near them!

Thanks...

I will try to explain as best I can.

When you hover your mouse over the bar, right click. You will be presented with an option "automatically show". Click on the option to remove the check mark.
You should then have to click on the bar to open or close it.
You can do that to both the "adjustments" bar and the "folders" bar.

You can always put the check mark back when you want the bars to automatically open when you hover your mouse over them.

Thank you for the solution to this problem. View NX2 is the only program I use for managing my images, but this window was about to drive me nuts!

Thank you,
Bob
