"Cache NX2 not clearing"

Qawra St Pauls Bay, MT

NX2 latest version, Win 8 64 bit.

I have set cache & temp to another (internal D drive) & Editing cache is unticked.
Clear cache is not clearing because if I look at the cache in my D drive there are a number of files there of about 90MB.
Why is that and is it safe to delete those files by right click - delete?
(Temp files delete OK)
Thanks

I'm interested to hear about this to.

I have a similar issue in that I frequently get a message saying that temporary work-space is running out as there is not enough space on the drive. I go into preferences and clear the cache but the message persists until I close and reopen NX2.

I've tried putting the cache on an external drive and my C drive - same result.

CNX is not very good about keeping the cache clean. It is safe to delete the files (preferably with CNX closed).

If you get the out of memory message, just click though it, CNX should continue to work OK. It usually happens when you have placed a lot of control points.

Thanks Mick. Must be a fix for NX3 (he says holding his breath and with eager anticipation)!
