Not for a long time due to budget...but I do want to try one out sooner rather than later. Not sure if I'll really be able to do so, but I'd like to. If I do get the chance, you all will be the first to hear it. It's possible that a good friend of mine who is a wedding photog *might* be buying a D800. If he does buy one early (he ordered the D700 as soon as it was announced), I will try it out and write a thorough impression.
An undeniable paradox: To think that there is any such thing as an absolute rule is at worst naïve, and at best, shortsighted. There is no such thing as an always-true, all context- or situation-salient, absolute rule that always holds true…including this one!
