Thanks, Eric.Another way to think about it is the D800 sensor is in some respects a larger version of the D7000 sensor (more pixels, larger sensor, but same pixel density).The D7000 has pretty respectable high ISO performance. My wife shoots that as her cameras when we shoot weddings. It hold up against my D3 quite well.So I'm expecting the D800 to look about as good, or a little better than the D7000. And that will be just fine for me!
