Yup, I'm selling my D7K and have ordered the D800.

It wasn't a hard decision at all. As a film-maker with a photographic background I have been waiting for this camera for a long, long time. My decison comed for both photographic and video reasons. It ticks all of the relevant boxes for me:

Full Frame sensor for my Nikkors
36mp for stills
1080p @25 video
Clean HDMI feed :-o (great feature, thanks Nikon)
Audio monitoring capabilities.

The list goes on...

I was sooo close to buying a D700 when it first came out because of the FF sensor and great low-light performance but I held off because of the video. Looks like the waiting is over.
I've had a great year or so with my D7000, to be able to shoot high quality video alongside great stills has been amazing, though the camera is not without its issues.

I just hope I get it before mid-April as I want to take it on my vacation to the States!
