Very interesting! Of course, the native file size is 7360x4912. Was that just an error in what you typed?

I can't explain it, my Nikon Transfer vs.1.5.3 did not work properly after multiple transfers under Windows 7 Professional. It could very well be that my Nikon Transfer has a corruption in some way.

Maybe some others with a D800 could comment on this issue.
