"Master The D800 question please"

I've had my D800 for 6 months and love it. But now I'm sitting with my camera and Mastering the D800 I've stumbled on some issues. The first is going to Playback Display Options and highlighted and check marked None and go back to Done and press ok (I've tried the center of the multi selector and the Ok button on the back of the camera) yet images are still displayed with printed info at the bottom.

I can't get just a plain image w/o text to appear nor can I get any other option except Focus point to work. What am I missing?

On to P mode question: sitting in a room with windows on both sides and lights on in the daytime (overcast day) I cannot make the aperture change (flexible P) taking into account the five click rule. I've gone well past in both directions. I have the auto ISO off. I have the 24-120 on and the on camera flash popped up. With and ISO of 400. I get an f/4, with iso at 640 I get f4.5 and still cannot make any changes.

If I turn on Auto ISO and set my min. to say iso 800, min. shutter to 60 I cannon get my aperture to change at all from f/5. If I up the Auto ISO to say 4000 then my camera jumps to iso 4000 and I get 7.1 but still cannot change the aperture from there.

I had noticed this before but never spent time mulling it over since I hadn't actually used this program. And yes I'm trying to make the aperture change using the main command dial.

This is a lot of info for what I bet is a simple solution.

Thanks,

Patsy
