Perhaps not the best image, but taken under difficult circumstances. Lately, it doesn't want to stop raining in the UK and the light is particularly atrocious today. The Squirrel is eating peanuts in a shaded area of the garden with a dark background. To get an exceptable speed with my Sigma 50-500mm f4.5-6.3 OS lenses I had to increase ISO to 3200. The target was 90ft away.
What surprised me was the lack of high ISO noise and the out of camera sharpness. However, sharpness has been increased by amount 69 radius 0.9. This is the first image I've taken at ISO3200 and it exceeds the results of my D700 and not surprisingly my D7000.
