After going through 3 different wire remotes (including the MC-36), I decided to go wireless and came across the RFN-4 on Amazon and must say it has worked flawlessly thus far on my D800E. I haven't had the bracketing lock up issue the other poster mentioned. Had it for about a month and so far, so good. Definitely recommended.
