Set as you suggested, I'm hearing about 7 frames before things slow down.
Now, keeping in mind, we're talking a better AF system, at higher resolution. Does this mean more keepers per burst?
The AF feels VERY fast. Still, I don't think there's going to be any "a-ha" moment as it pertains to the buffer. It is what it is.
Perhaps at 1.3 mode, things change (and that may make sense, because you still get 15mp, and BIF would benefit from longer reach).
When the sun comes up, I plan to try some shots that will tell me if I've got what I need/want. I'm pretty sure I do.
Truth is, I never shot the D7000 in Ch mode for more than 4 or 5 shots...
