Hi Tom,

I doubt you would be disapointed in the D7100...

Theres also the option of picking up a GOOD buy on a 7000... isnt there?
As they start to phase out probably. Not many bad things said on them. Excellent low light/high ISO performer...

Another way of looking at it would be to look at the jump towards FX format from DX...Go look for a good buy on a D800, 700 OR MAYBE 600 even?

Thats the way I would look at it if I was in your situation. I expect you are going to hang on to your D80? And of course your glass ware will probably be more than ok to begin with. Sorry if that mixes thngs up a bit, just thought I'd throw some ideas around.
