km6xz, suppose it is several years ago. You read the following statement:

" One way of getting more low light performance is to go to higher pixel count and average out noise by downsampling which works so well with the D7000."

Would this be a true statement, considering the user is mostly going to use the pics to post on the internet, where D7000 images need shrunk dramatically anyway?

If so, I am ready to learn/use that technique with my D7000 today.
