I had the same problem on Saturday. Only happened once. The difference is that we had 35 degree Celsius weather.

Switches the camera of, removed the card reinserted and switched the camera back on.

However I now twice had a problem where the camera does not want to switch off. There is no photo's processing. Both times I had to remove the battery to get the camera to switch of.
