U1 & U2 are static modes of shooting. You have already set in place features you prefer here.

My Menu allows you to 'lift the hood' of the Camera. It gives instant access to features you want, but also a direct route to menus buried three or four levels deep in Shooting or Custom, for instance. So, it is dynamic. For things you might need quickly.

Here's the roster in My Menu:

Virtual Horizon - on/off
ViewFinder Gridlines - on-off
Battery info
E3, control for built-in flash (TTl, etc)
Multiple Exposure (for bracketing)
