Awesome...thank you for sharing your experience with the D7000. I am currently using the D90 set to where I can select my focal points, so I am aware of how to select for one point in the menu setting. From what I've read, using that on the D7000 can be a big help with those having problems focusing. I'd also read that some of the problems is with older lenses that may not communicate properly with the D7000.
