not at all, Taking a sharp picture with a long lens plus converter hand held is not necessarily easy, and maybe I could do no better, but in a post regarding focussing problems, a shot that does not demonstrate sharpness is not a lot of help here. I'm sure that with all that lens you will have some really sharp pics - but the woodpecker is not one of them.Just looking at your gallery, the heron in flight would be a much better example of sharpness - look at that eye in flight!
