#24. "RE: D7000: NOT a worthy D90 replacement" In response to In response to 23
ZACATECAS, MX
GENTLEMEN; GOOD EVENING:
I find your replies very sound and logical, however, something got my attention about the sensor performance, I understand the pixel size and layer distribution well enough, it's the part about better High-ISO performance of the D7000 the one that bothers me, it is the same sensor size with more pixel capacity, it is like a DX-sensor on steroids, which means that photons have to find their way in a smaller bucket, so my guess is that the data processing is the one that has been enhanced or upgraded. Any comments about this issue would be MORE than appreciated, because I need some light (literally) to be able to understand it. By the way, another question, a good one I think, Do you know if there is a battery grip in the horizon for the D7000 body, I have BOTH my D80 and D90 with power grips and I love the stability and battery durability. BEST REGARDS.... JOSEPH!
