Pricing is competitive. There is free shipping on a whole lot of stuff such as the V1 I ordered yesterday.

On occasion they have gone above and beyond - a phone call to Nikon Service for assistance, breaking a kit, an easy return policy, and flexibility with pre-orders.

I appreciate Berger Brothers support of Nikonians, and that was the primary reason for my initial purchase. Since then, I have developed a good relationship with several staff members.

One of the big things I like is having someone I know and can call when needed. I have contacts at other retailers that have been helpful, but you need to commit to one store to the extent possible and help them get to know you. If you take a small amount of business and spread it around too much, you become less important everywhere.
