Hi Ran. I don't know if there is a good answer for your question.
I shot some photos of the moon last night using the AFS 300mm f2.8 VR + TC 20EIII. Here is a direct comparison screen shot with the D800 shot on the left and the D3200 on the right. Both photos were handheld but securely propped against one of the posts on my patio.
D800 ISO 125 f8 1/250, D3200 ISO 100 f8 1/160. VR on for both. Both photos were viewed at 33% and placed side by side for the screen shot
I find that in order to get the same magnification above 33% that the noise from the D3200 is significantly higher than the D800. At that point I prefer the D800. There is no AF problem with either body so for me the difference is noise on tightly cropped photos. One more click on the D800 photo in Photoshop going from 33% to 50% and now the image is larger and with less noise than the D3200 image.
