Shoot in Raw spend some money on SD Cards. I got 32 GB SanDisk Ultra from Walmart for $23 plus some change for my D3200. If I need to make Print Photos I use app such as Aperture or Lightroom to process and to save in jpeg format that Camera Processing uses . Photos I recently took needed to be 4X6. I sent them in Jpeg format directly to the WalGreens just up the hill from where I live. They turned out great for the purpose I used them for.
And spend the extra bucks if your going with the 5000 series on the 5200 it has the 24mp you can use to create large pictures and and when reducing the DPI you still have a lot of pixels for better looking picture.
