All three of those will work, but she'll have to manually focus. For reach on a DX camera (D3000) on a budget, this may be your best bet:

The D3000 (and several other) cameras do not have a motor to focus lenses built into the camera - the motor must be in the lens itself. This can increase the lens price, but generally such lenses focus faster. A refurbished (or even used on eBay or through a seller here) 55-300 will get you out to 300 mm with VR and good (although not great) optical quality. I had one, and although not my favorite lens it is probably the best bet in being inexpensive and still getting good quality.
