Hi Kelly,

Welcome to Nikonians!
Thanks for the link to your review.

There are a few things in your review that you might want to correct.

The following statement:

..............
"CONS
* It will not auto-focus with any other brand of camera lenses as it is designed to auto-focus with only proprietary Nikon AF-S and AF-1 lenses, which are expensive."................

Is not true. (See below) Also AF-1 should be AF-I.

and your conclusion:

....."While the fact that the Nikon lens mount won't accommodate other-brand lenses, if you have several Nikon lenses and you either need a second camera or a budget-camera with video capabilities, the D5200 is an excellent choice."..................

Is Not Correct!

The D5200 fully supports AF with All Nikon F mount lenses with AF motors built into the lens including: Nikon AF-I and AF-S types as well as third party manufactures:

1. Tamron lenses for Nikon (Built-in AF motors) and/or USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive).

2. Sigma lenses for Nikon with Built in Motors and or HSM (Hyper Sonic Motors).

3. Tokina lenses for Nikon with Built in Motors and/or DC motor with GMR magnetic AF sensors.

Hope this helps.
Good Luck and Enjoy your Nikons!

Best Regards,
Marty
