Gillette Castle in East Haddam Ct. Built by William Gillette,who was famous for portraying Sherlock Holmes on stage,in 1914 and is now a state park.The inside is open to the public during the summer months but the grounds are open year round.A good spot for Bald Eagles during the winter but none were around on this day.
