Anouncing a D3X and an improved D3 (sensor cleaning, larger buffer...) and leaking a possible D700 to put pressure on specs and price for competitors (like 5D MKII or 3D + 7D, Sony A900...). Also gives them time to fine tune the other rolling products knowing the others' hand.
