This is a message to one and all throughout the world.

I purchased 3 photography books from Amazon.com in January 2011 and paid USD$71.47 by credit card but the books never arrived after more than a month. I wrote to Aazon.com about it and they promised to re-send the three books again and to wait till April 2011.
Can you imagine my surprise when Amazon.com billed me again for the same three books that never arrived without authorisation from me ?

I reported the incident to Visa when I saw the bill and they promptly acted on it and told me not to make the payment which was not authorised by me the second time. Amazon.com took the liberty to bill me again because they originally had my Visa card details when I placed the first order.

My advise to one and all is to be careful not to give out your credit card details for purchases overseas and to find an alternative mode in making payments.
