I use DxO Pro version 10 routinely for noise reduction. I like fast SS and let auto iso max out at 3200. The DxO Prime NR is in my opinion the non plus ultra in noise reduction. You get virtually noise free images with no noticeable loss in micro contrast. I also think that the DxO RAW conversion is superior to Adobe. I am sometimes quite amazed that not more photographers use DxO Pro, especially since version 10 now seamlessly integrates with LR5.
