My new goal is to get all my images in one location and categorized and indexed. I currently have iPhoto, Aperture and Elements on my Mac. I want to keep all of my images on one 4TB external drive or NAS and mirror it onto a second drive for redundancy.

My question is what application works the best to keep up with all of the images or is it just as simple to create our own folders and naming?
