First, many many thanks to all for the valuable inputs. By the way, after I posted this thread, I had my wife look at it to help follow the responses. Here is her email comment to me,
" Read the posts. Good remarks about pricing. ... I am impressed with the overall helpfulness and quality of the remarks on Nikonians. Good group of people. ..." You folks impressed her (I knew you would).
Rest of story below but for your advice - I couldn't change size of prints as all were 11x14 dry mounted and i didn't have time to do more. (I will keep that in ind for the future). I priced the prints ranging from $165 for the Railroad series and the Sunset Tobacco Barn to $145 to $155 for the rest. I did offer a group price on the RR series if they bought all four. The way the sales work is when somebody wants to buy them, they will pay the store and take delivery then. If they want to discuss with me, my info is on the card attached to the frame and also on the back so they can locate me in the future.
Thank you again many thanks, your advice truly helped.
The last three are the canvas wraps. For the rest of the story:
I was under the gun as when I talked to the owner, he had talked about December if he didn't hear from somebody in that slot otherwise I would have January. Suddenly that evening he called and said I could have May and June starting May 7th, giving me about two weeks + which I needed as I only had 9 frames. 6 glass, and 8 mats for the 22 photos. I ordered 3 as canvas wraps to try CGProPrints.com as they had an ad in PPA magazine at attractive prices and I wanted to give them a try.
Then he confirmed the dates and mentioned the date May 2nd not 7th!!! Panic time. I assembled as many as I could. making an inventory of prints, prices, names etc. I went out and bought the mats I needed (A.C. Moore yeah - Michaels Boo hiss). I tried to get the glass I needed but not enough was available buy AC Moore had some inexpensive wood frames with the size glass I needed for 1 penny more than the glass by itself, so I bought 14 frames. Anybody need a inexpensive wood frame, have 14 laying in my room.
The frames arrived Tuesday and I went to work assembling them and the rest of the prints. Delivered one load and hung them and then returned for the rest. Finished at about 5:30 PM except for the Canvas wraps due in next Monday.
