I have none..

I got this (probably great) advice today on a photo:

"Very nice colour and Subject! If you can, try lowering the ISO, upping the F-Stop, lowering the Shutter Speed to compensate, that would be even better. "

brilliant right? I have no idea what it means.

I'm thinking it might be time for me to join a camera club in my area. What goes on in them? what happens at meetings? will it unravel the mysteries of the above comment?

(yes, I feel not at all clever wrt to this stuff... ) help!
