Rumours are mostly innocuous but they can be a disguise for disinformation or propaganda or even the spreading of lies. How often have you heard the following? Someone says; Have you heard the rumour...and then a lie is stated. This is why I am leery of them being taken for gospel and why I started a poll a few weeks back which most members thought they should be part and parcel of the site. The problem now is that there are rumours about rumours and I suspect more than one member has had their financial fingers burnt believing them. I know it is fun for some to speculate but it has it's serious side.
