"The hugely-anticipated Nikon D800 might be hitting soon—like a week and a half soon. Nikon Rumors claims the impending mega-DSLR will shoot 36 megapixels, confirming earlier speculation. And it'll kick off on February 7th.

NR says the cam will start shipping within a couple weeks of the February announcement, so start getting together that rumored $4,000 price tag."

The confirms nothing... except that there was earlier speculation. My own opinion is that this won't be 36MP, or even close.

I'm beginning to think we should ban any posts that reference Nikon Rumors.

But if, I'm wrong, I will eat my Nikonians membership card.
