#55. "RE: So what do you do? What else are your hobbies?" In response to In response to 0

Interesting thread. My other hobbies are climbing (rock or ice - or both), listening to music, and camping. I have five scuba certificates and lost interest when the classes finished. My pilot license suffered a similar fate when I compared the cost of flying to driving. Climbing gear, cameras, lenses, and tents are heavy so it’s better to drive.
My real job is a functional lead for PeopleSoft financials. Functional Lead is an implementation, configuration, design, modification, testing, project lead position.
I'm a military 'weekend warrior' currently on my third tour. This will bring me close to 5 years active duty though I've only ever been a National Guard member. I’m an Electronics Maintenance Warrant Officer (technical officer). Most of my experience is in navigation systems, radio communications, and electro-optical devices. Photography is awesome because it travels with me on tour.
Science fiction and fantasy are my favorite reading though I haven't done a lot of reading lately unless PeopleSoft white papers and Army Regulations count.
