I came to Alaska back in the early 80's. At that time I was a pipefitter. In order to remain in Alaska through the various economic cycles I found I had to adapt or take up new careers.

So I have been a pipefitter, flight instructor, commercial pilot, and now work in IT.

There have been a wide variety of interests over the years that have lead to a large pool of useless knowledge.

I suppose at one time I would have been referred to as a Renaissance Man, my wife says I just wander off on a tangent and have a tendency to immerse myself in the subject at hand.

I became interested in photography back in the 60's but have not consistently pursued it until recently.
