Considering that we can only account for about 10% of the mass of the universe and about 10% of the energy it is not surprising that there might be something interesting going on in that other 90%
I think of knowledge as an exponential curve that may approach zero (or infinity or unity), but only asymptotically. It will never quite get there, though, and it is possible we may never totally understand nature, no matter how smart we think we are at any given point in that T axis.
Of course, they are still arguing the details of the experiment. Reminds me of lens testing
